When guests go too far....

So I am more than happy that my Bobby (dark cat) has a friend (grey cat).
Grey is welcome any time. We let Bobby out to play with her.
We fill up the bucket so she can have a drink.
I've even seen her poke her head into the kitchen.
But....when she decided to poo in my plant pots it was too much!!!! And right in front of my little Bobby and Silky....

Tell me any tales you have when your guests went too far....

Not my cat lives about half a mile away

We have a visitor who is my ginger boy's best girlfriend. They're about the same age but she invites herself into our house to play with his cat toys. She hisses at us if we shoo her out and all of our cats ignore her in the house. He hangs out with her in her back garden though.

@Mumdiva99 no eating of puke! Dh cleared it up. Neighbour bought me flowers to apologise.

Mumdiva99 · 25/09/2021 05:06

@notmycat I will let her know. - I've read about their antics before. (and tell everyone that has a 'not my cat" that's what they're called.

@Thelongrider typical cats. You can play put but don't come in... I wonder how mine would feel if Grey ate their lunch.

@CrystalMaisie - lovely neighbour 😍.

@Mumdiva99 for the ultimate tale of not-my-cattery, have a look at the many tales of TC posted my the long-suffering @Grumpyoldpersonwithcats. I think the first 3 threads are in Mumsnet classics (can't link from here).

I have 2 black cats, a ginger NMC and occasional tabby visitor, plus a fox who sometimes puts his nose through the cat flap!

AlfonsoTheMango · 25/09/2021 07:50

Seconding the Saga of TC, the Ultimate NMC.

The first three threads are in Classics and I am sure that the fourth will be, too. It' best to read all three threads in order as the initial post was Grumpy asking for advice on how to deal with his neighbour's cat and it kind of morphed into Grumpy supplying delightful photos and text and TC (the cat's MN nickname) gaining legions of adoring fans. We've been asking Grumpy for a TC calendar. Hint hint.

Thanks guys I will take a look. I have been through classics but that was before I was a cat owner. So I probably passed it by.....

@Theunamedcat

Honestly I just didn't see him he was a white cat sat infront of a white kettle he must have watched me checking the while house for him before locking the door for the night (my cats were kept in overnight he was allowed to roam but always wanted in my house)

He was also busted farting on my duvet he hid on it when I was cleaning I put the wash on began cleaning and suddenly a smell developed I realised my duvet was farting and had eyes 👀 😅 he was always looking for a cosy spot to nap in

Love the farting duvet with eyes. One of mine is black (not an interloper) but I've had the same experience 👀 with a pile of black washing more than once.

Actually I have a regular visitor. Wilson. He is the most beautiful, friendly cat and is deeply in love with my smallest cat.

She hates him. He's always hopefully popping in through open windows to see her. Mostly at 3am when I am alerted by his amorous presence by her screeching her rejection loudly. They have the odd tussle.

So my nearest neighbours are probably awakened by 1. The sound of failed cat seduction and 2. Me yelling Willlsssoooonnnnnnnn in the manner to Tom Hanks which is the only scrap of amusement I can wrest from the situation.

So used their nightly shenanigans am I that I suspect burglars could break in and ransack the house accompanied only to my soundtrack of Wwwiillllllsssssoooonnnn and the occasional FFS.

I have a farting duvet ghost cat. Though he's definitely not the one haunting Theunamedcat.
