My house is now a foster cat hospital!

I just wanted to share the love amongst other cat crazy folk Smile

I have recently bought a house and moved back to my hometown after years away. My sister is a veterinary nurse and knows I’m a bit soft about cats in need (as is she to be honest). She is quite persuasive so…

This little beauty came to me after a car accident, with a broken pelvis and leg. She was heavily pregnant at the time but sadly lost her kittens. She was given a pretty poor prognosis but has recovered fully! She’s keeping me company while a home is found for her through a local charity here. She is utterly divine.

My sister called me earlier and convinced me to take a 7 week old kitten found in a lay-by. He is being treated for an eye infection and is getting depressed being stuck at the vets. It took me all of five seconds to agree. His crate is ready… so excited

If you’ve ever been curious about fostering, do it! It’s so rewarding.

I did it for a few years... Tiny ones without a dm!! Lots of bottles and making up milk!
Once had a litter of 7. Agreed a night out with a friend and piled all 7 into my car with an overnight bag. Came home a bit worse for wear trying to feed all 7.. Never did that again!!
Rehomed the very first 4 I had to the same family - so chuffed!! All black and gorgeous!!
Enjoy op.
Be warned it is very addictive!!

@Brollywasntneededafterall I’ve yet to have the tiny ones although I’m sure my sister is just easing me in slowly Grin I love that you took them with you!

If anyone is in East London and fancies fostering drop me a pm.

Had a tiny one once that had a chromosome disorder. He never grew-he stayed 4 week size but was whizzing around and fully functioning! Couldn't groom himself so we named him Bogbrush due to his sticking out tatty fur!
Sadly he died but that dkitten was so loved..

Awwww we had offered to foster a 12 month old foster but they needed her spayed (thought she was pregnant) and treated for various illnesses first. In the meantime a retired stud needed urgently rehoming so he moved in.

Sadly I think our rehome is too boisterous for the potential foster!!! My old girls DCat and DDog are not impressed with this constantly wanting to play non-sleeping rehome!!!
