Kittens and Covid

Hello. This is going to sound a stupid question. We have a 14 (almost 15) week kitten and my husband very likely has covid. We live in a house where isolating from each other is near impossible, day and night.

What if anything do we need to do about our kitten, is she likely yo get unwell? She has only been here two weeks and needs a lot of attention still as is bonding and also a bit crackers!

Feel stupid asking!

I suppose you just take the same precautions you would with a human baby, keep the place well ventilated, wash your hands well before and after petting and before preparing food. There's not much else you can do, I wouldn't be isolating the kitten from the main household.

Thank you. The ventilation thing is hard as she tries to escape and runs and climbs everywhere at every opportunity! I always wash hands well anyway as trying to teach our children to be safe with petting, feeding and litter etc so will keep doing that!

Reading online I was a bit confused. Says they can get it but won't be unwell and cannot pass on.

There is no way we could isolate her, she is a baby and needs us!
