So my cat has recently visited a cattery and seems to have come back with some hitch hikers! Really annoyed as he was treated with frontline just before he went so unless he's suddenly become immune I'm not sure how it's happened ? Only saw a couple at separate times on him and a couple of tiny ones in the house but honestly my skin is constantly crawling. I've sprayed the house with the strike back flea killer stuff but this doesn't kill the eggs. I'm constantly hoovering and washing bedding but where he sits on the floor I found what look like loads of flea eggs 🤢🤢 again promptly hovered up, but I feel like I'm fighting a losing battle. I'm worried everytime he comes in he's dropping eggs everywhere!
He's been treated again but since then I've seen a live flea on him. So now I've given him one of those oral tablets to kill adult fleas but I know I can't treat him with spot on for another 3 weeks now. I'm panicking over the eggs, how the hell do I get them off him?
Any tips please??! This is the first time I've had to deal with fleas and it's sending my already bad anxiety and ocd through the roof

Frontline often doesn't work that well as fleas have become resistant to fipronil. You could try advantage or a vet prescribed treatment. Indorex is supposed to be good for treating the house

I had this argument with a woman who works in pets at home the other day, I said he must've become immune and she rolled her eyes at me and said no he hasn't !
I'm going to try advantage next time definitely. It's just the eggs on his fur that are concerning me atm

The eggs don't stick to the fur so will mostly fall off onto the carpet/into their bed, etc

So aslong as I Hoover daily do you think that should be enough?

Indorex household spray. You may need to apply twice but it works very effectively.
Frontline is now useless where we are.

Was going to say that frontline doesn't work anymore. My girl once bought a tick back. The cattery staff were absolutely mortified!

If he goes outside, sit outside with him and comb him with a nit comb.

Will get eggs off and live fleas.
