One of my kittens is sick - but I don’t know which one

I have two and they are seven months old. I keep getting up in the morning to find a large amount of sick that looks like indigested food. Because it’s in the night, I’ve no idea which one it is. They both still seem happy and healthy, going out lots in the day and bright and alert, coming for cuddles and active.

One is a bit of an over eater. When they were younger, I did used to put a bit of dry food out for them at night in case they were hungry. They have dry food in the morning for breakfast and dinner is a wet food that’s made up with broth - so a high liquid content. They always have fresh water available and kitten milk at least once a day.

I did wonder if it was the over eater but she’s just been on two meals a day recently and so if she’s bringing up undigested food - could she still be over eating? The other one seems completely happy and healthy too so I don’t know if it’s her.

They only seem to be sick in the night - my five year old has suggested I stay up all night to see who it is but that’s not happening!

They don't need kitten milk so I'd stop that.
Set up a Web cam?

What brand/type of food is it?
Is it grain free? Some cats can't tolerate grains

They’re not sick in the same place each time, otherwise I could have tried that!

They usually have Iams but I couldn’t get their usual brand on Friday - so had to switch to something else temporarily (it was all they had in the shop) and I was hoping they’d be ok. That night, the sick started, so Saturday I went out to get their usual brand and I guess I thought that would clear things up straight away. The switched out brand has vegetables in, which I was completely skeptical about (cats don’t need vegetables??) but I was short on time and it’s all the shop had.

It's the dry food doing it. I had a cat that was on dry (he refused to eat anything else) and he was a regular puker.
I now raw feed my cats which works for me. I'd try at least to introduce a good quality wet.

Shut them each in a different room overnight with food water and litter tray and then see where the sick is in the morning!
