Cat boarding

I would appreciate the hive mind on this one.
Out cats went to stay with someone, a really lovely lady, while we moved house, and then of course covid happened so they have been there for months abs months. She needs her house back but we can’t have them where we are now and because of covid they missed their vaccinations. We are now on course to move in the next 6 weeks (but of course Christmas and New Year) but need them somewhere in the meantime.
Does anyone know if I explain this to catteries they’ll likely make an exception? They are indoor cats so unlikely to have anything.
Everyone I know seems to dislike cats in particular and I am distraught. I can’t imagine what I need to do, they have so overstayed their welcome and I miss them.
Suggestions? Advice?

Why can't you just take them to the vet and get them vaccinated. I presume you had to rent somewhere that didn't allow cats?

Vets should be doing vaccinations. My vet is doing extra clinics on the weekends to catch up with everyone who has missed their appointments. I doubt anywhere will take them if they are not vaccinated as they might catch something or pass something on.

I know you say they are unlikely to have anything, but if they have been out of your sight for months on end then surely you don't really know what they have been doing?

Get them vaccinated - vets are open now

When you say you can't have cats, have you double checked? Sometimes landlords will allow exceptions (my tenants have a cat, previous tenant had a couple of dogs), and my landlord took an extra deposit but allowed us to have cats.

Vaccinate and cattery.

My cat had her boosters in the middle of the first lockdown so I’m sure vets are vaccinating now. You should be able to get them vaccinated then board them.

Vets are just definitely open and doing routine vaccinations. You won't be able to go in but the cats will.
I think it's as part of their licensing (or such) catteries have to be able to prove all cats who stay are vaccinated should they be inspected so I don't imagine any will break those rules.

Yeah our vet has been completely back to normal (well, Covid normal) since June, we've had 2 normal appointments since then and another on Saturday, just take them in for their vaccinations OP.
