Hi all.
I have a gorgeous new kitten shes now 11/12 weeks old.
Weve had her 2 weeks now, the first week she was ok but had a touch of diarrhoea so I changed her food to Wainwrights on the advice of staff at P.a.h. So shes now on Wainwrights dry and wet food. Well the diarrhoea has got worse particularly today and yesterday and shes now done her poo's 3 times in a corner in my bedroom. Previously shes been going in her litter tray. Ive got a vet appt for Sat morning but in the meantime is there anything I can do to help her and also to stop her from pooping in my bedroom? Any advice appreciated.

She's beautiful. 😍😍😍😍
I'm no expert but I'd say Wainwright foods can't be right for her for whatever reason. I'd take her back to the vet. Could she have some sort of intolerance.

Awww.
Did you only get one? Kitties are usually strictly given as pairs. She may be distressed and lonely.
Depending on where you got her from, many illnesses and parasites also cause diahorrhea eg Giardiasis. A vet visit is essential if the symptoms continue today or she could suffer.

I’d take her off the dry, wainwright’s has maize protein in it iirc & their intestines weren’t designed to digest cereal. Our departed boy couldn’t take cereals either.

She's beautiful!

No advice re feeding, although I think a visit to the vet would be a good idea to rule out an infective cause.

If she has pooped three times in your bedroom, she might have decided it's a suitable toileting spot, so I would suggest keeping your bedroom door closed for a few weeks to break the habit. You might even need to confine her to one room for a few days, with food, water and litter tray, to reinforce the idea of only toileting in the litter tray. However, make sure her litter tray is well away from her food/water, as cats dont like to toilet near their food. Also, if you do confine her to a single room, choose one that you spend a lot of time in so she doesn't get lonely.

Kittens with diarrhoea can dehydrate and deteriorate very quickly; any chance the vet can see her today?
It may just be a food intolerance but either way, you need to act.
When you've been switching the diets, have you done so slowly over a matter of a week, reducing the amount of the old diet and increasing the amount of new?
I agree with other posters about soiling in inappropriate areas being a sign of distress, physical or emotional.
She's very pretty. Good luck. I hope you can get to the bottom of this soon.
