New rescue cat spraying indoors HELP!

At the beginning of October we rescued a beautiful black and white cat. when we visited her she was very friendly she's 5 and the last owners DD became allergic (or that's the story we were given)
now she is with us.,but she has taken to spraying indoors, very frequently. I have had cats before but never had this. we have taken her to the vets to rule out anything medical. I have purchased feliway and given her an enclosed box to sleep in, as she likes to tuck herself away. She is not actually very friendly at the moment and her tail is almost constantly wagging as if she's annoyed.
I don't want to send her back to the rescue..but neither can I live with the constant spraying.my house stinks and she is now confined to the kitchen diner where I can at least clean easily.
we do have other cats come into our garden, one of which she now regularly chases out.

any ideas or experiences please? help!

Buy a supply of Cystease, you might need two a day if she's a big girl. It’s made by feliway.

If her litter is too rough or the pieces are too big they won’t use it so try a fine ultraclumping one.

If she’s anxious about other cats stopping the other cat getting into the garden would help. You can imagine how you’d feel if a stranger was coming into the garden.

A covered litter tray inside the back door might help - you know, the ones with a roof on? It helped to settle and reassure several rescues we had in the past, even including a feral. They sprayed to their hearts' content in there.

@MiniLeopardInTheHouse. I somehow have only just seen your post! I have ordered a jumbo enclosed litter tray.,she is a larger lady and loves enclosed spaces so I am hopeful. ,Thank you for the suggestion.

@Fluffycloudland77. we have been trying her on cystease. she is still spraying but it does seem to be a bit less thank you

If she’s a big cat she’ll need two capsules a day, not one.

Yes she is big.I have been giving her 2..she been on it since Monday night..so maybe not long enough just yet
