Pros and cons of getting our kitten its sister

Our kitten is nearly 4 months old. We've had her for about 6 weeks. She is a Bengal, so lots of energy but really very affectionate. We intend for her to be outdoors when she old enough and ready (although that's a separate thread, how worried we are about letting her out).
DH would have taken 2 of the kittens from day 1. He grew up with cats. I'm a nervous newbie so just wanted the 1 for now and see how it goes. She came from a litter of 8. The breeder contacted me yesterday to say she still has 3 kittens. I assume she is now worrying about being able to home them all. It was coincidental that she contacted me on the same day as DH had ben trying to convince me it was good idea to get ours a companion.
Would we be mad to consider 2 bengal sisters? I think we would be. Already our dining room chairs are ruined and carpet is clearly not going to get it's full life span!
What do we need to take into consideration, besides ruined furniture and needing another litter tray? I don't know whether I should allow myself to be swayed or not.

My two bengals are quite happy to snuggle up together

I don’t know about bengals but have had two pairs of kittens and both loved each other. My current pair run to greet each other if one comes in, they sleep in a heap together, groom each other and love play fighting. You might find they entertain each other instead of ruining the soft furniture but it might continue till they can go out and scratch trees.

We met a breeder who had 9 bengals but you need a back up plan if one decides actually they don’t like sharing because when they really fight they aren’t messing about.

Would the breeder take one back? How would you choose which to send back.

@ChristmasCantComeSoonEnough DH hopes they would entertain each other. Thinking ahead more to when we both finally have to go back into an office (not imminent).

@Fluffycloudland77
I can't imagine sending one back! If we really had to, I guess we'd keep the first one, but I couldn't imagine taking a kitten with return clause. That's too sad :(.

Still undecided today. Furniture vs companion! We have enough space, and the extra cost isn't an issue, although it is a consideration.

@Thisismynewname123 Cat rescue lady told me that about females being more tricky with others. We have a new male and he's bonding pretty well with the much older cat. They are playing after a couple of weeks. Previously we had females snd they got on less well.
