Harness which clicks into car seatbelt

Just wondering if anyone uses one of these for their cat? My cat hates travelling in the car and wondered if they’d prefer this to being in the cat carrier. They have them in Aldi at the moment for gigs and I think the small one would be a suitable size.

Mm would assume a dcat could reverse it's shoulders out tbh.. Even our Husky can get a harness off!
Was very puzzled stood holding an empty lead once....

We use an airline carrier from zoo plus. Our cats are used to permanently being in harnesses. The carrier has a lead attached inside it. So we clip the cats in, the carrier is attached via the seatbelt restraints in the car. We then unzip the hood of the carries and the cats sit/watch/lie down/sleep the journey away.

To think 30 years ago we just drove around with the cat sat happily on the back parcel shelf!

As kids we thought it fab to be allowed to travel with the dog in the boot (estate car not saloon!)

I use a harness (researched lots and bought an actually crash tested one, as many are not tested in any way). Wouldn’t rely on it for a cat as like PP have said even my dog could escape from his if he really tried. And he’s a staffie with a big blocky head and shoulders. I got a folding soft carrier for my cat which has covers that can be pulled down over all the mesh windows. Old cat liked Eva Cassidy when he travelled.
