Evening everyone,

We have a problem with fleas ShockBlush

Not sure how as we regularly treat our cat as a precautionary measure but I've spotted a couple in the house today and I've got a few bites.

I've got some indorex - does anyone have an experience? Reviews seem fab.

My question though - how long after spraying it so I need to wait before doing the first round of hoovering?

Anyone?

This isn’t answering your question but when I worked at a vets, they would always advise people to hoover first before spraying, as the vibrations will make any eggs hatch, and then the spray will be more effective.

@Myneighboursnorlax thank you - still great advice!

Indorex is the only household flea treatment I've found that works.

I strongly recommend it. (Pity it's so bloody expensive though...)

Spray every inch in your home.
Hoover every day for a week. Put some flea powder in your hoover if it's bagless and empty it in your outside bin straight after use.
If it's a bagged one, put a flea collar in the bag and and bin the hoover bag after each use.
Put spot in on your cat too.

Indorex needs to dry properly and then its fine to hoover as normal, I vacuum daily anyway, but vacuum just before spraying, give a spray of indorex in hoover to kill fleas you pick up. Then spray keeping the windows and doors closed, pets out of the room. Leave for half an hour after spraying to dry, then ventilate well before using the room.

Flea treatments don’t stop them getting fleas, it just means they’ll die when they bite the cat.

I'm still getting fresh bites two days later Angry
