What are these wounds?

Has anyone seen wounds like these before?

The past week or so my cat has been coming home with wounds like these only on her neck (never this bad before!) this morning she has came home with these.

Obviously I'll be keeping her in for a while.

At first I thought they were from fighting but now I'm not sure.

Ideas?

Ok. We've established that the flea treatment I used is crap and I've said I'm going to change it for a better one.

Can we go back to my OP please. My cat doesn't have fleas and this wound is nowhere near where I put the treatment.

So take the cat to a vet? Those patches look sore.

@AtTheWinchester I think he needs to go to the vet

@Papergirl1968 that's what I think has happened to mine too.

I've given it a good wash and she seems okay in herself. If anything changes I'll take her straight to the vets. She had an antibiotic injection on Friday for a different bite so hopefully that'll have helped.

He got them from a fight - scratch or bite. One was so big he had to have a general to drain it. He’s had a fair few when he was younger but doesn’t seem to fight to much now. So if they’re on the front then they’re fighting and standing up for themselves. If they’re on their back then the cat has been running away and the other cat chasing them.
