Has Felix changed it’s recipe?

Or is my cat just being a bellend?

He will only eat Felix - the mixed one in jelly. All other cat food won’t even be sniffed, he’ll meowed at and walk back to the cat food cupboard and cry until something more satisfactory is put out for him.

I normally only buy the small boxes as I can’t carry much back from the shop but just bought a massive box off Amazon and he won’t touch it. As far as I can tell it’s the same as the small boxes - same mixed meats in jelly but I can’t compare ingredients as I don’t have an old box.

For three days now he’s only eaten his biscuits and then spends the rest of the time meowing at the cupboard. Do I give in and buy him a smaller box of exactly the same thing? Or will he eventually decide to start eating it?

My cats loved Felix kitten food, but I've recently switched them to the adult version and they seem less keen. I buy it from the supermarket and they will no longer touch the Beef or Salmon flavours at all. They'd rather starve!! 🙄

I do think that sometimes cats just get fed up with certain foods. I used to give my cats hi life for breakfast every morning, and other brands later in the day. After a couple of months (and after I'd just ordered two big multipacks) they suddenly decided that they weren't going to eat hi life anymore and wouldn't touch it.

I didn't give it to them again for several months, and have recently reintroduced it. Suddenly, the food that they wouldn't go near a few months ago, is now their favourite, and they wolf it all down! 🙄🙄🙄

Fortunately, cat food tends to have a long shelf life....

My cats didn't like Whiskers kitten food, so maybe I should try them on the adult version!
