My cat seems to have become a hypochondriac

This year it's like she wants to visit the vets every week. She bumped her head at xmas and vomited blood - first out of hours charge. Then developed a uti and acted like she was on deaths door when I came home from work obv after they had closed - second out of hours charge.
And lets not get started on the fact since lockdown she has had so many niggles and scares. Genuinely think I'm there best customer at the min with all the telephone appointments, taking her in and trying medication.
This is all topped off tonight when she was adamant the litter tray wasn't good enough and she would brave the rain. Ran too fast for her elderly little legs missed the concrete step and bashed her face/neck. Luckily she seems ok but the panic while I was shouting for her not to move in the rain after 11 at night the neighbours must think I'm bonkers.
This is obviously light hearted shes worth every penny but the sooner the vets are back to normal and she decides she doesnt like going again the better.

Please tell me someone else is in this boat, I should have shares in the place.

With cats like yours who needs investors though?.

Poor cats really going through it isn’t she.

Poor cat. I wonder if there is some underlying issue which is causing her to fall alot? Has the vet done some blood tests? Maybe request that? She sounds like she is having a tough time, hope she's feeling better soon. I took my cat to the vet because he seemed out of sorts and he had a blocked urethra which could have killed him. That was six years ago and he is doing great, but since then I have always gone to the vet for any suspected problem

The fall was because it was raining and her eyes aren't so good in the dark she was going to fast. I think she has hayfever but the vets seem to be misdiagnosing her. I'm going to take her to a new one as soon as there letting clients in - shes 21 so dont want her been messed around and can get a little bit stressed. Shes such a happy little cat other than being a bit itchy.

Yep. A vet laughed, and said "and yours never get anything normal cats get" it's always been out of hours and needing referral to a specialist.

I think at the venerable age if 21, she's allowed to cause as much trouble as she likes!
