Our cat turns 8 next month and we need to renew her insurance in July, any recommendations of good cover for an "older" cat?

My girl will be 10 in August. I've had £20k of claims with Tesco and I can't fault them. Very easy to deal with.

I've always found Petplan good. They aren't cheap but tend to pay out with little drama.
What I would say is now you need to find
a good one which gives you lifetime cover as once they are over 10 you can't get that.
With our old cat we switched insurers when she was 12 (the previous one put a £1k cap per condition per year) and went with Petplan but the annual £3k limit. Of course within months of switching we had to claim. They paid out quickly and Dcat became diabetic as a result of having had pancreatitis (amongst other things). We didn't know if they would pay out for the diabetes being linked to a previous issue but they did.
I am now sticking with them with for our current cat. He ran up £2.5k bill last summer and they paid up ok.

@Vinorosso74 thank you I ll check them out, she's been in good health the two years we ve had her but want to be covered if something serious happens as she gets older. Sorry about your cats diabetes.
