Like where do you buy yours from? Cost per week, how many grams per day, do you need to add taurine powder? Has your cat ever needed a dental?.

I only have one cat (and 3 kittens at the moment who don't eat solids yet). It cost roughly £15 per month to feed her but she's jot a big eater. I never measured out her food, if she was to get fat, I'd just feed her less for a bit. I make my own batches as she doesn't eat mince. Commercial food cost more. I don't normally add taurine but I have some here for the next batch as last time I struggled to get hearts. If you add enough hearts (ideally chicken) you don't really need taurine.

Where do you buy it all from?. £15 a months very cheap, I was spending more like £8 a week on mine for normal cat food.

I feed my fella raw. He's a strange puss, because he's genuinely not that motivated by food. Currently he gets a pouch of purrform a day, along with some dry food. I used to feed him only raw, in which case he'd get double what he currently gets, and no dry. They do 450g frozen tubs which are a lot better value than the pouches.

What I found when he was raw only was that his poo didn't smell. A benefit for me obviously, but also I think a sign that his digestive system is very healthy. I regret starting the dry food (on the recommendation of the vet) because he has to drink more, his poo smells a bit and I don't think it's nearly as good for him. But he's a fussy little bugger now and I'm not sure he'd switch back.

They do a variety pack of pouches, I think, but they have a minimum order which is a bit crap as you've lost a few quid if your cat doesn't like it.

Just seen your point about dental. He did have tartar build up and had to have a clean, which is what prompted the vet to recommend dry. But it hasn't made any difference and he's got a bit of build up again, so I think he's just prone to it and the food hasn't made any difference.

The purrform stuff comes with bits of ground bone in it, so there's some crunch in there for teeth and gum cleaning.
