Kitten weeing on things!

I have two 14 week old Kittens who are utterly adorable and he really no trouble at all. General kitten hooliganism but nothing out of the ordinary.
Boy kitten has developed a habit for weeing on things, it appears to be plastic bags. Two days ago I opened a black plastic bag ready to empty the litter in their trays, he jumped straight in and pissed in the bag! Just now, I found him pissing in a plastic bag in our front room. Any ideas why?
They're very well looked after, fed, cuddled, and generally seem happy. Separate trays, food bowls etc. Not sure what I'm doing wrong and not sure how to break him out of this habit.

Which litter do you use?.

Using Catsan at the moment. He's still using his tray, for poo at least so I'm very confused

Maybe he wants two trays to himself, one for wee and one for poo. Some like to have two areas.

Mine has two trays to himself. Best practice is 1 per cat plus an extra 1 x

Hmmm... I'm not sure I can make that happen space wise. When they were at CPL they had one each so when I got them home, I replicated that. We're in a tiny house so no space for a third tray.

Once they get their paws under the table they do like to change things. Ours used wood pellet litter at his breeders but I had to use scented ultra clumping litter at home or he’d wee outside the tray.

We bought a different type of scratch post once and he sprayed the bed. I had to dismantle it and return it to pets at home.

Cats are ruthless. He’s willing to do bad things to get his own way. 😼

Hmmm... I'll defiantly give another litter a try and see if that makes a difference. Little radicle is currently curled up on my lap, purring away without a care in the world!

My boy only ever did this on plastic bags. And only then when he had an infection. Keep a close eye. And hide the plastic bags!

Hello, bumping just in case anybody has any further advice, I'm reaching the end of my tether here, still having issues with boy kitten weeing in places he shouldn't. I really don't know what to do.

I've changed litter, reconfigured the space to accommodate an extra litter tray, the trays are kept cleaned out and changed regularly.

He seems happy, we don't have a stressful house in the sense that it's just me and DD. DD is 8 so she knows how to look after them and play with them appropriately, gives them space rather than smothering them etc I can't imagine what could be stressing him? He does meow a fair amount but I can't figure out if he's just vocal or something is troubling him. It doesn't seem to be a stressed meow like when I take too long to open the bloody food pouches Hmm. I don't think it's a continence issue because he seeks out places rather than not making it to the tray. As soon as I discover a spot that he's used, I go at it with an enzyme spray and scrub it clean, but he just finds somewhere else.
I'm trying to get him neutered sooner rather than later, current restrictions permitting will that make a difference? It's weeing rather than spraying as I've caught him in the act a number of times. Never seems to be girl kitten, only boy kitten. Any advice would be much appreciated.
