I feel physically sick at the thought.

Demelza is being spayed next week. She’s 5 and a half months. She is desperate to get out but when she’s snuck out when Iv put the bin out she just stands on the patio area.
We have 6 ft fences/brick wall and I’m worried that if she gets over them, she won’t be able to get back Blush

What if she doesn’t come back? What if she can’t find her way? We have a semi busy road at the front. There’s a few cats round here.

Ahhhh

I don’t want a catio or anything of that ilk.

I don’t live near a busy road and live in almost ten acres of parkland.

My cats have all had complete freedom and made it to late teens and two of them started life in a London flat with a garden. They used to hang out in a gang of about eight cats - I would come home from work and find them sunbathing with their friends on the flat roof!

Hopefully this one will live to a ripe old age. I grew up on a farm, maybe that shapes my approach 🤷🏻‍♀️.
