Can anyone interpret these blood results please?

Hello, our elderly cat had a blood test yesterday, results as below. She is at least 17 and vanishing before our eyes. Yesterday the vet was sure it was her thyroid and if got under control all would be well so we agreed to the test. We are very conscious of her suffering as when our previous cat was PTS we knew we had taken too long to make the right decision. The vet called my husband and said she may be in pain and needs more tests. I do not want her to suffer and am not sure of the right thing to do, any advice would be gratefully received.
Lab Results

Urea 14.7 (5.7-12.9) HIGH
Creat 195 (71-212)
Amylase >2500 (500-1500) HIGH
MCV 37 (41-58) LOW

Needs urine sample for SG as creatinine 195 to differentiate azotaemia/pre-renal

Blood pressure would be useful

Hyperthyroid still likely, needs free T4

Needs a specfPLI which might confirm pancreatitis.

Needs blood smear to check MCV

If vomiting is a daily issue then prevomax injection (nausea/visceral analgesia) and follow up with 1/4 cerenia 16mg tab once daily as ongoing until FT4 comes back.

Vit B injection if available. Will look into oral supplements (maybe Kaminox?)

High amylase can indicate pancreatitis, I believe which is incredibly painful.

Thanks for replying. I am very worried about her and don't want her to suffer unnecessarily. I wonder having seen what our other cat went through it is kinder to let her go then put her through a constant barrage of tests and struggling to get medication in her?

I personally wouldn't put a 17 year old through loads of tests. If you feel the time is right then PTS. You know your cat best. It's a really awful decision to make. With my cat I just knew it was time.

Yes I think you are right, it won't be easy but better for her, strange to think there will come a day when she won't be here demanding a 4am cuddle. I wish you and your beautiful cats a happy new year.

What a hard decision to make. But it does sound like it is time.
