Are opened boxes of cat food any good to rescues?.

I don’t want to bin it, there’s no hedgehogs here to feed.

You could try Freecycle, I'm sure someone would snap them up.

My CP centre accepts open food and gives it to people who feed ferals. Anything still sealed they can give to the residents.
It's so sad getting rid of the stuff after they go. Via our vet we passed on some insulin after our old girl was gone.

Yes. If you look in your larger supermarkets, you might find a bin ( usually near the tills) that asks for donations to your local animal rescue centre.

@Vinorosso74 I know. I had loads of Maia's medication left, I took it back to the cardiologist and cried my eyes out on the poor nurse! They keep them for people who can't afford the medication. Which I thought was lovely.
