I’ve seen one called kitty litter box but wanted to see if it’s as good as they say first?

Not heard of that one we had an Amazon order for Cats Best but they've cancelled the last 2 orders .(out of stock)

I'll look at Kitty Litter Box though

EachandEveryone · 06/12/2019 10:27

Where they take the box away? It looks good but i think it would work out expensive if you have more than one cat.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 06/12/2019 14:13

On the website FAQ it asks about "Will my cat shred the box" (they answer "No because cats don't treat their toilet as a toy" )

Ha!
My cats do that sweepy paw scrabbling on the sides of their litter box .I wondered what the Jeff the noise was , and saw them scraping away at the wall, the weirdos that they are Grin )

It looks quite good, though my dog would be straight in and eat the poo. But guess it’s one less job for me.
Doesn’t look very environmentally friendly though?

Stupiddriver1 · 06/12/2019 14:22

Ok, have watched the video. The actual box is too flimsy for us as the dog would genuinely flatten it getting in to eat the poo.

Gingerkittykat · 06/12/2019 14:23

It's £18.99 a month per cat, so for my 2 cat house would be £38 which is a huge amount.

Disposing on the plasticised box would also take up space in my landfill bin, be bad for the environment and I don't believe the litter would be smell free for a month,

Lindy2 · 06/12/2019 14:29

My fussy cat will only go in completely clean litter. Do they only change it once a month? How would that stay fresh and dry?

Fluffycloudland77 · 06/12/2019 14:53

You could buy a box of sanicat gold every week for that much 😳. Plus the waste aspect of the box.

Your better off buying their favourite in bulk and storing it in the house.

We’ve tried it. I don’t know if it was the same company but it was where they send you a disposable monthly pop up cardboard litter box and the litter, so I think that’s the same thing? We liked the litter but not the cardboard box as it didn’t stand up to a cat that liked to jump on top of it.
We now have the self cleaning litter robot and get our litter subscription on Amazon subscribe & save which is lots better.

70 my little cat does that. She makes such a performance out of the whole process, there’s the pre poo digging first, no area of the tray is left out, the spot she chooses must be perfect for her needs before she starts. Then the main event. Then the burying and wall/floor/side of the tray scratching. Then she leaps and and swishes off, tail and nose in the air.

Bigcat doesn’t even bury hers usually so Littlecat does it for her Grin

FlyingFlamingo · 07/12/2019 07:04

And she chews anything made of cardboard (or wood. Or wicker. And currently the Christmas tree Xmas Hmm) so I can’t begin to imagine the potential for mess with a full litter tray made of cardboard Grin
