To take to the vet or not

DCat returned home yesterday evening after her usual evening outing & was hardly walking on one her from paws. Happy enough in herself - eating & taking cuddles as usual. This morning still limping & having difficulty jumping down (not up) but otherwise ok.
So I've booked a vet appt for tomorrow (first available). She has slept most of today and is now walking & jumping seemingly with no problems.
Should I still take her tomorrow? She HATES the carrier & will poo & wee in there, presumably in distress so I'm always keen to avoid it as much as possible
Thanks!

If she seems happy now I wouldn't - same as you probably wouldn't go to the doctor for a one off ache that's now cleared up.

(Disclaimer - I have no idea if that makes me negligent!)

I see this so often. Cats that are completely non weight bearing on a particular leg for around three days, and then suddenly they're fine again. So unless I can see something wrong, or they seem out of sorts generally as well as the limping, then I would always wait a few days before doing anything about it. Most of the time it's just a sprain.

I wouldn't unless it starts up again.

can you check her toes...one of ours has issues with a claw that grows into her little toebean...it's weird as it's the third toe on both feet

We saw her limping a while back and realised what it was and got the vet nurse to check her out, the she started up again a month or so back but one of dd's chums who is a vet nurse dealt with the extra long claw and just a couple of weeks back we noticed her limping on the other side and it was the original claw piercing her pad again

This time we wrapped her up leaving only one foot out at a time and snipped all her claws and we're going to check her more regularly.
