4 weeks down the line and generally winning with the kittens and toilet training, however I have some spots that despite loadsa cleaning / zoflora / lemon / vinegar / everything they just continue to try to go. Mainly doormat, rug and behind my headboard.

How can I stop this? Pleeeease help me!!

The only thing that stopped one of mine from
Seeing on the sofa, was physically blocking the spot with my handbag. None of the spears worked for me either.

Your autocorrect always has it in for you, but this one made me laugh. :)

Surgical spirit is good for eliminating urine smells, which partly attracts them back to the same place. If you can't section certain areas off, might be worth putting something like foil down.

How many litter trays do you have? I had three for my two boys, they were emptied three times as day as they went so much in the early days. Also, they were somewhere quiet and the only reason we needed to go near them was to clean.

I have 2 for 2 cats, they are both in the kitchen. It's in the conservatory right next to the door that they are going over and over again. On the door mat there. I took the old door mat to the tip yesterday, steam the whole thing today, used bleach and an odour eliminator from Amazon. Soon as I opened the door this evening to conservatory the girl went and pissed on the mat 🤯🤯 so I've placed that mat under their litter trays in kitchen hoping the scent will get them there. Annoying thing is is that they use it all the time so they know what it's for just these other times when they don't.

Don't use bleach, it encourages them to go there again, just use the enzyme cleaner. We had to get rid of our soft doormats as girl cat used to wee on it, now I have bristle ones and funnily enough she's stopped!

Sorry to be clear, you need a proper enzyme cleaner that breaks down the urine smell, so they don't go back there.

You need an enzymatic cleaner or biological washing powder to break down the organic compounds
