Healing Mews for Donald, please

The cat who lives upstairs - he who has a Polish name - but who I call Donald (because he has a pout like Donald Trump) has had a run in with a car. He came home with scuffed nails and paws, and was hissy when my neighbour lifted him off the fence. He's normally so laid back, he's horizontal

She didn't know what was wrong and just kept him in for a week. He's lucky in that nothing seems to be broken and he's over the shock (I have advised her that it was probably a car and that she should take him to the vet, but she hasn't asked to borrow the carrier, so obv he's on the mend). But please keep it all crossed for the First Kitty. Hail to the chief and all that.....

Do you think she can afford the vet? She might qualify for pdsa if she’s on a low income.

Sorry I didn't come back.

Yes, she can afford the vet (they've borrowed my cat's carrier before). Dunno why she didn't take him, probably because he seemed physically okay, other than sore.

I've seen him since and he seems fine, except he now doesn't roam as far as he used to - he used to be out in all weathers - the family out calling him and he'd eventually come home in the early hours. Now he keeps more regular hours.
