Elderly cat poop advice please

Seeking any advice regarding my elderly cat. A bit of background -She is coming to near the end of her life, she has long term bowel issues and is having flare ups more frequently now due to medication that she is on. The problem is that there is cat poo everywhere in my house. I am spending my days washing the carpet behind her. I am finding it a bit of a struggle to be honest. Does anyone have any advice re keeping things clean or have any past experience? She still has quality of life and it is too soon to think of putting her to sleep.

Very runny, lots of stripes and stains everywhere not piles of it. She can't help doing it and will always use the litter or my back garden when she properly needs to go...

She does have a couple of litter trays and I don't think it's behavioural. Just poor control with her health issues and age really.

I‘ve seen incontinent cats wearing cat diapers. Do you think your cat might wear them without being too upset?

I never knew there was such a thing. I would definitely give them a go. I will google them. Thank you!

Has it been the vet? Could be a big bunged up (. Then obv comes out like that once relieved), elderly cats diets change, certain foods can change teir stomachs.

She's been to the vets this week for other stuff. I will get them to have a feel of her stomach she is in again. She is always the opposite to bunged up with her inflammatory bowel... It's definitely worth a check though thanks.
