Ragdoll wants to roam

I have 3 cats, 2 are happy to mooch around the garden and not go any further but the other one wants to go further and I’m not sure what do. He is very clued up as far as ragdolls go and not overly trusting with people he meets, but I still feel uneasy about letting him go further as he’s just so obviously not moggy like and I worry he would get stuck or hurt.

Has anyone had a ragdoll and let it out?
The garden is cat proofed but he still try’s to get out!

I have ragdolls & they're strictly indoor only, why take the risk?

How did you catproof your garden btw?

I've got Persians and they've escaped the garden a couple of times. But no way would I let them out into the big wide world. They are just too stupid! Cheddar would also probably get stolen as she's so friendly, she'd go to anyone. I wouldn't take the risk. Especially as Ragdolls are so obviously pedigree cats.

I have a ragdoll and dont let her out further than the garden. Although before we moved she jumped the 6ft fence a few times and played hide and seek with me...I had all the kids off the street looking for her! She would roam further if she could but I just cant trust her now so I have to supervise. Not worth letting them roam even if they are chipped.

I used the wall brackets and garden mesh method. I’m not keen to let him out obviously but he is obviously desperate too and that makes me feel guilty.
Any ways I can liven up the garden for him?

If the catproofing is done correctly (at an angle and tall enough) and your fences are tall enough, he's not going to be able to get out anyway. If you've done it recently, he'll probably get used to it soon. I definitely wouldn't let him roam.

Some people train their cats to walk on a lead like a dog and take them out.
