Which clumping cat litter?

I am trying to find a clumping cat litter that has very little dust.

Harry has had a cough for the past 18 months. We were originally told he had heart failure but he's had scans and there's nothing wrong apart from a grade 1 murmur. The vet suggested he might have asthma but didn't want to put him through a biopsy as he doesn't have many symptoms and isn't distressed.

I read this morning that some cat litters can make asthma worse so I was thinking of changing his to rule it out. At the moment we are using Felipure clumping cat litter and I was wondering what other people use. I looked at World's Best but it it gets very mixed reviews with some people saying it's very dusty.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you dontcallmeshitley will have a read. Just had a glance and they mentioned growth stimulants, this perhaps explains the size of one of my dcats, on the other hand the other one is rather small 😂.

But I do love the feed as litter, so I just have to hope they don't get to much dust 😀. Used to have bentonite litter (i think it is called) so dusty i could taste it, when cleaning. But thank you for the link.

I bought Cats Best when I got my two cats last month.
It masks the smell (I do tend to scoop as soon as I know they've finished , but even overnight there's minimal smell)

We started with the trays under the table then gradually moved it to the cupboard under the stairs . The door was left open first , then they had a cat door fitted .

They are faultless with their toilet habits , the Cats Best clumps the pee into a ball and if its deep enough they happily bury the waste .

I got them a huge flat plastic box ( under bed storage box) for them to share .

The Cat's Best doesn't seemed to have helped Harry's cough but were going to stick with it as it's easier to get than his old one and the litter is a lot lighter. I actually like the smell of the litter which DH thinks is strange!

We've had Harry 11 years now and never got rid of the litter tray. He actually comes in from the garden to use it!
