How long before I give in?

Before Christmas Harry went off his favourite Country Hunter food so we changed him to James Wellbeloved which he has practically been inhaling. I did a bulk order from Zooplus and, you've guessed it, he's looking at his bowl as though I've put poison in it.

Yesterday I gave in and gave him dry food, mainly to make sure he was ok and his mouth wasn't playing him up. I gave him a wet pouch this morning and he doesn't want to know.

What do I do? How long do I persevere with the pouches? He's got early CKD (I think) so I know he has to eat. I want him on wet food so he gets his Ipakitine for his kidneys but I can't starve the poor sod into submission. He's so bloody minded I don't think he'll give in and eat the pouch.

I think she'd be too much for poor old Harry!

Well I think I've solved the issue. Harry has his own food cupboard which is attached to an outside wall and I think the pouches were too cold! I'm now getting them out early so they can get to room temperature and he's happy!
