Cheddar is an absolute pest at night. I've tried shutting her out with a door stop behind the door. The little bugger still managed to get in
And poke me. Confused

Is she still trying to stop you getting up in the mornings?

Toddlerteaplease · 09/12/2018 13:12

Well she isn't to keen on me getting up, but she's even less keen on me getting sleep!

Ash smooshes himself into my face so we end up cheek to cheek if I'm lucky it's his face cheek Hmm

Toddlerteaplease · 09/12/2018 13:18

She likes to suckle my face. Hmm the other cheeks are not as nice!

I have the same issue. I can't shut Mooncat out as she scratches and howls at the door. Today she woke me at 5 by patting my face and breathing meaty breath on me. I pushed her away and she came back at 6.15 and sat on me, at which point I gave in and fed her breakfast. Little dictator. The other night it was 2.30am.

Toddlerteaplease · 09/12/2018 13:29

I wouldn't mind if it was just parting, it's the painful biscuit making that's the issue. And she does not sit still. If I moved her she comes straight back. Literally nothing stops her!

Toddlerteaplease · 09/12/2018 13:49

Problem is that she's so cute and such a lovely cat. She gets away with everything!

It looks as though she is eyeing up your lunch now!

Liverpool1944 · 09/12/2018 14:01

She really doesn't see the issue here? 😅

Toddlerteaplease · 09/12/2018 14:11

She does more than eye it up. She's always trying to steal it. She's also taught her adopted sister to try her luck as well!

OP posts:
ScreamingValenta · 09/12/2018 14:13

Uh-oh! If they start working as a team to steal your food, you've got no chance!

Toddlerteaplease · 09/12/2018 14:50

I suspect that is what is happening. Snorg would sit gazing at me while eating. But until the other day she'd never tried to actually steal it. Cheddar was also trying to steal it. If they suddenly grow thumbs I'm doomed!

I'll never forget one time I settled down to eat a lovely rare steak I'd cooked - and a cheeky paw shot up and swiped it from my plate. The cat ran off with it - I jumped up and followed to find my cat in the hallway, sharing my delicious steak with the dog!

Toddlerteaplease · 09/12/2018 18:57

@Liverpool1944 issue? What issue? I am innocence personified.

Miracle!!!!! Cheddar did not wake me at all last night. I set the automatic feeder to open at about 4.30am! I must have been completely comatose though as I slept through her puking on my duvet. And she's a total drama Llama when she's sick!

Unfortunately on nights tonight and tomorrow so will have to wait to see if it's a fluke
