Recurrence of cat flu??

We have a 1 year old rescue cat. She was found with her mum and brothers and sisters around 4 weeks old so not much is known about her first few weeks.

She is fully vaccinated so shouldn't be able to catch cat flu. But I think she is suffering from regular recurrence of symptoms?

Every couple of months she gets very watery sore eyes for a few days then back to normal.

Her sore eyes have started again and now she is constantly sneezing, very red around one eye and holding one ear down as if it's sore. She is booked in to see the vet tomorrow morning.

Dr Google mentions the herpes virus that can be triggered by them having cat flu young, obviously we don't know for sure that she had ever had flu but it sounds likely with the recurrence of symptoms despite the fact she has had all her vaccinations.

Just wondered if anyone had experience of a cat with these recurring symptoms. Is there anything we can do to help apart from vet visits? Any food supplements or vitamins that could boost her immune system maybe?

She may have acquired flu in the early weeks? I had a rescue cat with similar symptoms which manifested themselves a few weeks after we adopted her (we had been told she was healthy). Blood tests confirmed flu. The vet didn't recommend any supplements but we did get a powder (can't remember the name, sorry) that we sprinkled on her flu that stopped the runny nose and sneezing, she also had antibiotics whenever the symptoms flared up, which when she was young wasn't that often. She lived a good few years with it.
