Stray vs Chancer (pick a side)

I will try to condense this post as I possibly can, here goes...All of the cats involved here are black entact males. We have been feeding a fat chancer for over a year. Of course within the cat community the word gets around of the human softies who put free food in their garden. A thinner chancer will visit too, but he is essentially an evil bullying fecker. There has also been a stray or at least very undernourished cat, who has been visiting more frequently. Recently the stray decided that he would adopt us and he has been living in our potting shed for the past three weeks. The cat has made it clear he is not a house cat (for now at least) and from staying in the shed, he has gained weight and his coat is in now good condition. However, the chancers still lurk about. The adopted stray will see off the fat chancer. Yet the thin chancer will bully the adopted one and pinch his food. Could anyone please advise? Many thanks

I would love to act as a bouncer for entry to the potting shed, but I do work full time!

About your only recourse is a chip-activated catflap on the shed and closing the shed up otherwise. Which may mean getting adopted stray chipped...

Don’t feed cats you don’t know are strays and don’t belong to you.
