Food suggestions please, slightly sensitive stomach

My two boys came to me on Felix pouches and Purina One dry. Boris was fine on them, and Purina Optistart I bought my mistake. Also, okay with some free Royal Canin pouches and dry. However, tried him on Sainsburys grain free, Harringtons dry and kitten milk all of which have caused soft very smelly poos/diarrhea. These are all kitten products and introduced slowly over three days. He's nearly eight months now.

For now he's back on Felix pouches and Purina dry which has settled his stomach.

Longterm I'd like to give them something better than these products but affordable. Also, something that's available locally as well as online as I ordered some Applaws dry but the online supplier didn't let me know if was out of stock so didn't arrive with my order.

Any suggestions. They're on approx 80% wet and 20% dry which is what I'd like to keep them on.

I was going to suggest Applaws - we get ours from Pets at Home and they often have offers if you bulk buy, though it's still more expensive than Felix.

Royal canin sensible

My very sensitive cat has total Canin aromatic exigent. She can't tolerate the sensible. Or anything else I've tried. However I discovered a new brand called Scrumbles at a pet show. And that's really cut down her projectile vomiting!

Thanks for your replies. I'm going to PAH tomorrow, so think I'll still give the Applaws a try, also I'll look at the Royal canin options.

Toddlerteaplease, yes I saw the Scrumbles on a website (unfortunately it was the one that didn't tell me Applaws wasn't available until delivery) and it looked interesting. Hopefully the manufacturers will manage to get other companies to take it.

Encore dry is 80% meat and grain free. I get it from asda. They dont need kitten milk so I'd avoid that too. Royal canin is full of crap and not a lot of meat so it's not something I'd give them. If you're looking for slightly cheaper then AVA dry food from PAH is 60% meat and grain free (it's their own brand food)

My girl didn't tolerate AppleLaws or James Welboved. I'm going to try RC digestive when they've eaten their way through 10kg of aromatic exigent. It might take a while!
