Best high quality food for sensitive cats?

Hi everyone

I recently got a kitten who is currently fed on royal canin kitten wet and dry. I’d like to move him to a grain free food ( gradually) but he does have quite a sensitive stomach. I’m guessing it’s a case of try it and see but just wondered if anyone had found any of the grain free ranges particularly good for sensitive cats ( I’m buying from zooplus).

I tried a tiny amount of thrive the other day which he loved ( way more than the royal canin) but gave him really runny poo.

Purizon is good

Meowing Heads is good, I think they do a sensitive cat version.

Sanabelle?

Not tried the sensitive but in this house we are big fans of the senior and kitten. When I was looking for a senior food, it was one of the few that had properly researched ingredients for the older cat. Older cat looks v good on it and has gained weight.

It's also been our most popular buy taste-wise for kitten kibble (they have only ever had grain-free) over Feringa, Purizon and Thrive.

I just feed mine on whiskas dry food and such. Leftover chicken and ham sometimes. Do they need rehoming?
I give them regular fresh water. Confused

I tried RC sensible and Janes well beloved. Both of which led to projectile vomiting. I never knew such a small cat could store quite so much puke!! We ve gone back to Aromatic exigent even though it makes her poo stink.

Every poorly cat I have looked after has improved when fed on pilchards in tomato sauce
even compost cat when she had starved for around a month coped with it
and its cheap Smile

Mine LOVES the wild freedom dry. He purrs while eating it Confused and smacks his lips while he's crunching

Thrive. It is very expensive though.

Ours have raw ground chicken carcasses from the local butcher. Works out at 50p per day for two cats, fed once in the evening. Smilla dry food for the rest of the time.

My cats turned their noses up at James Wellbeloved. Ended up having to give it away to the cat shelter.

Neither the food nor the cats were wellbeloved at that moment.

Are you switching it over slowly? If you just suddenly swap to a different food that can cause loose stools no mater what the food.
