Should I persevere?

Me again. Started some James wellbeloved on Friday mixed with usual food. Had to wipe both bums the other day as very sticky. Cheddar was sick this morning. Do I persevere or give up on it?

She does seem quite sensitive and doesn't tolerate the Persian food.

I'd give up.

Bugger. Not after the nice baths?! My huge, ex-feral moggie only tolerates extremely expensive Special gentle digestive stuff from vets, lilly kitchen and dry royal canin. And any cheese he can get off me (only let him have teeny amount, rarely). Still have to wipe his bum on occasion - neither of us enjoy this.

ScreamingValenta · 30/09/2018 00:00

What were you giving them before?

Toddlerteaplease · 30/09/2018 06:26

Snorg was on Royal Canin persian. But it makes cheddar sick. So she was on Royal Canin aromatic exigent at the rescue. So swapped Snorg on to it. But it makes Cheddar's poo smell horrendous. So was trying the sensitive variety.

Did you try the JW grain free? Harry eats any JW but I know some cats are more sensitive

Toddlerteaplease · 30/09/2018 10:06

Yes. The house cat one. Might give it one more try and then give up and stick to the sensitive stuff. I think Snorg prefers that any way.

I didn't think that one was grain free. Harry's only just started eating that one again so I'm a bit out of touch though

Toddlerteaplease · 30/09/2018 13:54

I think it is.

It did give Snorg a rather messy bum though as well.

Argh. One home to cat sick. Back to the exigent it is and I'll have to put up with the horrendous poo!

Acana or Orijen are the only foods my v sensitive boy cat can tolerate. He cost us a fortune in vets bills until we found these as he was pooing blood and quite poorly.
