We adopted two kittens a fortnight ago - they were dumped at a day old and hand reared as a result and are now 10ish weeks old. They are absolutely gorgeous little things and seem to be thriving despite their rough start to life, but one of them has taken to weeing on our bed. He did it this morning, then as soon as I opened the bedroom door this evening he was up there weeing, then I caught him preparing to go again, took him downstairs and put him in his litter tray, turned my back, and he legged it upstairs and did another one.
What can we do to help him to learn that the bed really isn't the place for weeing? His sister is really good, and although we have had a couple of accidents from her they have been few and far between and much more "accidental".
We use catsan litter in the tray, it's a fairly large one which does have a lid(but we haven't put the lid on yet as thay seemed to confuse them!) and spot clean it out as soon as we spot a poo (so multiple times a day).
Any top tips would be really gratefully received as my poor washing machine can't take many more extra duvet loads!
