Maybe.... Hoping to adopt a pair (brother and sister) in October, if they're still available. Can't before then as have just moved and want to have everything sorted before we get them, so there's as little disruption as possible.

Aaaaaanyway, back to my question. As they are 7+, I would like to feed them as good a diet as possible.
What are peoples recommendations for mid range (price wise) wet and dry food please? Thank you!

I'm not an expert on foods, but won't to know more about your new potential babies. Where are you getting them from? I guess you've expressed an interest in them, if not, do it so they've got you in mind. Stupidly I started looking too early on animal shelter and charity websites knowing we couldn't rehome until 1 September. A pair went I was interested in at Cats Protection, but another pair came along and they held onto them until 1 September, so I know have two lovely bundles of trouble.

My boy is about 14, and I got him when he was 7 or so (he was feral). He's always had Purina or Sheba wet food. Purina or Iams dry food, available all day. Once or twice a week he has cooked chicken, also tinned (in oil) sardines or tuna a couple of times a week. He's fed 3 times a day.

James Wellbeloved dry food or Hills Science plan which does dry and wet food.

What are they eating now? By this age they might be set in their ways, and familiar food might ease the transition.

I assume you will take them to a vet fairly early on, so it might be best ask their advice based on their health, weight, teeth etc.

Finger crossed you get them!!
