Eosinophilic complex

Anyone had any experience of this?
1 year old cat has a lesion on a back leg that's been diagnosed as eosinophilic complex and has been prescribed steroids.
I've been advised it may be recurrent (but less likely to reoccur during winter).

Any "tips" for assisting recovery, please (we're putting tea tree cream on it to discourage licking, vet said that was fine)?

Yes. My parents cat was diagnosed with this. And I posted on here at the time and. Got no replies. He had raised white blood cells and vet kept doing multiple blood tests etc, which all cane back normal. He had steroids as well. In the end it was put down to stress as he's very highly strung. He has zyklene and is much better.

Thank you - the tea tree cream is from pets at home. I'm putting a small amount on.

Did your parent's cat have many re-occurances, toddler? Looking at cats that doze nearly all day, it is odd to think of them being stressed, poor wee thing.

I think possibly one but I'm not sure. Doesn't seem to be an issue anymore. He's the most highly strung, nervy cat I've ever met. He's a pedigree rescue, who apparently couldn't cope with a baby. I'm not surprised he couldn't. He's an absolute dude!

He's gorgeous! Imagine if he'd started a mumsnet thread thread about the baby - I think he'd put things like "it's simply unacceptable"

He's a stunner and he knows it!
