I feel like I need a support group Grin

I'm currently trying to re litter train my little princess while giving her UTI meds and covering the room in puppy pads.

Please tell me i'm not the only one.

I doubt she needs retraining. Surely she just needs to be over the UTI and then all will go back to normal?

Nah. Nobody can understand cats. Their weirdness goes beyond the wisdom of mere humans.
One of mine bites heads. Actual human heads. Confused

I think Jackson Galaxy might have it cracked. I'm attempting to become an apprentice via TV episodes.

catneuterer - she's a tricky bugger this one. I hope it's a UTI but the vet said her temperature was normal and thought it was probably more behavioural. We moved house a month ago you see. She's shut in the bedroom at the moment. Litter boxes are in the ensuite but her hit rate is pretty poor Sad. Maybe, hopefully the meds will help. Prior to this she was peeing in the hallway which is ruining the carpet which might have to be replaced.

Which DH is considerably unimpressed by. The house is new to us and the carpet was perfect Sad. I've bought a carpet shampoo wet dry vac to try to salvage it.

Feliway everywhere. The vet is probably on to something re it being behavioural. Could be a stress response to moving into new territory - maybe the cat can faintly smell a previous owner's pet and is trying to cover that scent up with their own.

Hi Past. Yes we have two feliway diffusers (upstairs and down) and I used a spray near the front door as she has form for peeing there. Didn't stop her sadly. I did not put a litter box near the front door though as I was hoping she wouldn't do it in the new house. Wrong.
