Would this be really sad?!!

Just seen a video of a cat playing with the hanging toys on a baby bouncer, I haven't got any kids. So would it be really sad if I bought a cheap second hand one. I have no doubt that's live to sit in it, even if they don't play with the toys. If they ignored it I'd give it to work. (Children's ward)

Yes buy it if kitty wants to play with it, don't donate it to work though just in case of potential allergies. Hope your cat likes it, you could buy a mobile as an alternative.Smile

Do it! But be prepared for people to think you're weird Grin

Bojangles33 · 27/04/2018 18:24

(We bought one for our impending human child, takes all our time to keep the fur children out of it!)

Dancingfairydreams · 27/04/2018 18:26

Do it! I'm buying mine a kids tunnel & ball pit for the garden 😂😂😂 whatever makes them happy 😘

Toddlerteaplease · 27/04/2018 19:48

People think I'm weird anyway, especially when it comes to my cats. So not worried about that! Not sure I've got room for one though!

I have stopped myself buying ours a sandpit for the same reason.

I want to buy him a sun lounger though....

He would just pop in the sand pit wouldn’t be? I’ve had to stop myself buying a pram this week and opted for a pull along trolley instead. I really wanted that pram!!Confused

ScreamingValenta · 28/04/2018 14:02

Go for it. If your cats don't like it, you could offer it to a local cat rescue.

Fluffycloudland77 · 28/04/2018 14:27

Yes he’d totally poo in a sand pit.

abbsisspartacus · 28/04/2018 14:30

Mine had a pram I couldn't drive and I couldn't carry fat cat in his carrier to the vets

He also used to play with the kids toys he amused my dd for ages pressing buttons and prodding stuff

Toddlerteaplease · 28/04/2018 18:36

I'd love to take my girls out in a pet stroller. Unfortunately they'd hate it!

I'm sure I've seen a cat toy that is just a replica of a baby mat with dangling toys

Toddlerteaplease · 30/04/2018 20:00

Yes. I had one. Snorg loved sitting on it. But never played with the toys.

Would this be really sad?!!

Do they like playing with dangly toys? If not, they probably won't care about a baby mat thingy either

Toddlerteaplease · 30/04/2018 20:25

They don't play with anything, so I'm just racking my brains for something to entertain them. Though having looked at the bought chairs we have at work. I think they are too small for the girls to sit in comfortably.

Best toy we had was a ball of tinfoil

Weedsnseeds1 · 02/05/2018 07:50

Try the widgets out of draught flow beer cans. They seem to be valued far more highly as toys than balls actually designed as toys. I think they roll faster, so more exciting!

Toddlerteaplease · 02/05/2018 08:00

That's a good suggestion. I'll get some beer, though the beer will go down the sink! She used to like playing with pens.

My dog has 2 paddling pools and his own bedroom so I wouldn’t judge

Hs2Issue · 02/05/2018 08:03

Our Dcat loved the baby mat with dangly things - only problem was getting her off it so the baby could play on it.
