Hello ♥️

I am a newbie trying to find my way around, am interested in getting to know everybody at the litter tray as I am a bit of a cat crazy lady!
I would love to talk to anybody who has a kitty.

I've been advised by some kind people that the litter tray is full of lovely peopleHalo just looking for some friends.
I have a pure white moggie who is 7 months old but due to me being a new user I'm unable to share a photo! :( x

Glad you found the topic @ilovemykittyy

These are my cats - the torby girl is nearly five, and the black boy is an old fella coming up to 18!

We are all cat slaves in this topic Grin!

TheSecondOfHerName · 26/04/2018 18:49

Hi there, this young lady came to live with us last winter. She's small (3kg) but hilarious.

Hello just saying hi!

My boys were 6 a few weeks ago!

ilovemykittyy · 26/04/2018 18:54

@TheSecondOfHerName she just beautiful isn't she? Yes they are hilarious, mine has a new found love for the bath! She sits in it, plays with spiders in there! (Obviously no waters in the bath) she's just hilarious, she also plays hide n seek!

TheSecondofhername, you aren't near Bristol are you? I took in a stray last winter who looks just like your girl. When he was at the vets, they said a similar looking female stray had been reported to them the same day I found my boy, from only about half a mile away. Dd and I are convinced she was our boy's sister.

And welcome Ilovemykittyy, by the way.

ScreamingValenta · 26/04/2018 18:57

Your cat looks angelic @TheSecondOfHerName.

What lovely tabby boys @Aprilmightbemynewname - and how amazing that you have cats who actually use their bed Grin.

ilovemykittyy · 26/04/2018 18:59

Lovely boys! Anybody round south coast at all? Whilst we're on locations lol x

Dumbledoresgirl about 150 miles from Bristol. Her previous home was about six miles from here. They didn't get her neutered and she had a litter when she was eight months old. We met her at a NAWT shelter.

No, I'm in Yorkshire so the opposite end of England!

Dumbledoresgirl it would be amazing if your cat was related to TheSecond's.

ScreamingValenta · 26/04/2018 19:06

x-post - sounds unlikely Sad.

ilovemykittyy · 26/04/2018 19:07

Helloo👋🏻👋🏻

Yes my lovely lady chooses to stay indoors funnily enough! She sometimes goes and sniffs in the garden, but generally she's not interested! But when it's sunny and she does I have to apply sunscreen to those precious pink ears which she doesn't appreciate but puts up with lol maybe she's associated going outdoors with mums annoying gooey stuff

Ah ok, my boy was about 4 months old at the time. No idea of his back story but he was in a rough state so clearly hadn't been looked after for some time. This is him btw. I guess we just have to accept that there are loads of beautiful grey and white kitties out there.

Only because it is on top on the tumble drier!!

TheSecondOfHerName · 26/04/2018 19:16

Dumbledoresgirl that is a great photo!

Dumbledoresgirl · 26/04/2018 19:18

Not so much now, but he did when he was a kitten. He has a huge character though and really gee-ed things up for my 2 older cats when he turned up. Also, the wildlife in the garden. There was a time when he brought me something every day, starting with twigs! Then earthworms, then empty birds nests, frogs, birds, mice and one unforgettable time, a complete adult squirrel tail (no squirrel though). He also Hoovers up those annoying flies buzzing on Windows. I guess his hunter instincts had to be quite strong to survive his time as a stray.

ilovemykittyy · 26/04/2018 19:23

Yes narla does that, eats the flies for me haha. Yes narla didn't have the best start either. A friend of a friend was selling kittens, I went to see them and the mother was nowhere to be seen and narla was alone with no food, so I took her straight away and reported this lady. She was under weight, riddled in fleas, hadn't been wormed and was very malnourished and she was only 5 weeks! I've grown up with cats but I am a first time cat owner so wasn't sure. The friend that recommended me to her I know longer talk to. So I took her straight to the vet, and advised me. She's now happy, healthy, a normal weight and had all treatments,

How people can do this sickens me x

ScreamingValenta · 26/04/2018 19:31

Poor thing! Kittens can deteriorate so quickly especially when they have fleas - it was lucky you found Narla in time!

ilovemykittyy · 26/04/2018 19:32

I know the vet told me I was lucky. She will always be very small though, she won't grow to her full size because of the neglect. But she's happy and healthy now

Lazy little hussy reporting for mewty...

Hello just saying hi!
Ellendegeneres · 26/04/2018 19:56

Incidentally, having seen your post about your little one, a friend once told me the litter her cat had had was sick and she wanted to use my pdsa membership to have them seen to. She took 3hrs to get to mine, and when she’d arrived (public transport, it was 30+ c) one had died already. Took another 30mins to get to vet, they were seen and 5of 6 kittens died due to flea anaemia.
I’ve never spoken to her again- and I told the vet they weren’t mine but hers. She was prosecuted.
The mother cat ended up dying too- apparently she was malnourished.

Some people don’t deserve animals

ilovemykittyy · 26/04/2018 19:59

It's disgusting, I was beside myself, narla was ripping her hair out under her neck and was bald in places due to reacting to the flea saliva, I'll never understand it
