She is 4 months and one week and I'm worried she is overweight. She has two meals a day and treats. She has 1 pouch of felix a day mixed with Purina Pro plan. Treats wise she has a few dreamies at bed time She is very active. But she is growing fast. She has loose skin on her belly. I've never had a cat and sure if she is normal. I don't want her to be unhealthy.

It's generally best at 4 months before the first season - at 6 months you risk her coming into season and there are health benefits to neutering before that. If she does show any signs of going into season, be very, very careful she doesn't escape - many an indoor cat has managed to get out, they are very determined to get mated when in season.

We had to wait to spay ours as they were tiny. It was a nightmare keeping them in. We also had them microchipped at the same time. If they ever escape or you do let him out in the future it's well worth doing.
