Which brush?

Afternoon!
I have a bloody giant fluffy cat and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a really good brush? He isn't long haired, but is HUGE and seems to have a lot of fur which he struggles to maintain himself.
It can take me well over an hour to give him a half decent groom with the tiny one we currently have.
I'm happy to pay a reasonable amount for it, but would like to make sure it'll do the job.
Help me please MN!

Try the zoom groom rubber brush, cats seem to love them and they get loads of fur off

I've got long haired Persians. I use a zoom groom, a tangle teaser and a metal comb from PAH. They used to get terrible knots until a professional groomer taught me how to do it properly. If you can afford it, getting a groomer to give them a good going over every few months is a good idea.

A zoom groom it is then! Thank you 😊

We use a Furminator on our big cat. It catches all the hair under the topcoat and really thins it out

Ooh, that sounds even better. Will have a look into both. Thank you.

I have three brushes for my furry monster. A metal comb, an undercoat rake and a furminator. The rake and furminator are best for getting rid rid of excess fur but the metal comb is good for getting out tangles or bits of dust and leaf that get stuck in her fur.

Furminator was purchased and is absolutely perfect! My fluffy boy is now half the size and so smooth! Thanks Smile

Don't use it too much or their coats look awful!
