19 cats. Anyone else got this many?

I'm just seeing if anyone else has a large number of pet cats? We have 19, plus 3 dogs, a bearded dragon, about 50 hens, a couple of peacocks and some ducks. I thought a tips and idea sharing for multi pet households thread might be nice!

My tips - all hardwood floors. Robot hoovers and mops on each floor of the house to keep the house clean easily.

Buy flushable cat litter, it's a godsend!

That's a lovely (as well as helpful) anecdote about your cat called Pigeon, Athenajm80. "Pigeon" is such a great name for a cat!

This is Pigeon looking as cute as always. Also, Toad and Raven who are both black and trouble makers 😂 You can't really see Raven but she's hiding in her house. The others are JD, Koko, Lech (after the Polish beer, but it normally gets changed to Lecky or Lexter), Ghostie (the tripod cat), and Alizè (or favourite cat)

I can have anywhere between 2 and 20ish in peak kitten season. All bar 1 are temporary residents. All are indoor only. My garage is utilised as an isolation set up for incomers. Bathrooms /laundry can house Mums and babies. Even the kids get in on the act occasionally declaring a cat bedroom cat. Over the 4 ish years I have been in rescue there have been over 500 cats come and go. Its very possible to have a clean home and multiple animals. However for my own sanity I now try limit myself which is easy since I now tend to do the cats the require more intensive care.

I do love Pigeon's earnest little face, Athenajm80. What a cutie! I can tell you picked names to express each cat's individual personality. I never ceased to be amazed at the emotional life of cats, how clearly some are "troublemakers", like Toad and Raven, and some are bossy, and some are shy. But they all love treats and to be admired!

It's awesome the number of cats you've helped, cjdamoo. I have some notion of the work involved to keep everything clean when you have a fair number of cats but I also know they really appreciate it. I have one who follows me around and "supervises", she especially likes overseeing me cleaning and refilling the water bowls.

I have three cats (2 boys and a girl) who are all as close as can be, they snuggle up together and groom each other, although each has preferred spots and special people. I have three dc so three really is my magic number! 19 seems like loads but I love the sound of your multi pet house. Jealous of the chooks too.
