Stray cat?

I have had regular visits from a Tom cat now for nearly 2 years. I have two spayed girls and they have a cat flap so I think he has been coming and going for some time.

Anyway, recently he seems to have been coming almost every night. He isn't neutered and has been spraying in the conservatory. My two seem to know him and it doesn't bother them when he was yowling at the back door this afternoon. He strolled into my house and he seems very at home. So I rang the vets and took him to see if he was chipped - he isn't and none of my neighbours know him. We are quite isolated in a rural area so plenty of food for him.

Question is, what do I do with him? He's beautiful and very friendly.

He must be getting enough food and shelter to get by.

He's been 'sofa surfing' with me for 2 years Grin

Oh no, who owns him?

Ratbagcatbag · 10/03/2018 20:45

Oh bugger. ☹️

Still frustrating he's not been done though.

Want2beme · 10/03/2018 20:49

Oh, shame. Can you tell them to have him neutered? It's the best thing for him.

LanguidLobster · 10/03/2018 20:49

Aww that's a shame, he looks so friendly. I bet he'll be back to visit, though...

Wallywobbles · 10/03/2018 20:53

Cats that live outside properly often don't get much in the way of fleas.

WowIFreelStrange · 10/03/2018 21:43

you are the chosen one. get him spayed, and keep him. what a beauty!!

WowIFreelStrange · 10/03/2018 21:46

rtft shame he's been claimed!! make sure they're his real owners and not simwijw who just wants him. I know very rare but it does happen.

I'll be shocked if he stays away. he will probably keep coming back and getting more friendly.

EachandEveryone · 10/03/2018 21:59

Do they seem genuine? Do they want him?

CupcakeBabaPoo · 10/03/2018 22:30

The owners have been round - he heard them and ran off and now he has disappeared.

Definitely genuine as seen pictures of him they've sent and he has a distinctive white mark on his nose. He's a much loved family pet. Moved house a couple of months back and not had chance to get him done yet (I assume he's young) and then he disappeared and they thought he was dead Sad He has been gone 5/6 weeks. He's been visiting here for a couple of months, since the spraying started.

My previous visitor a couple of years ago must have been a different Tom. My two are very popular with the boys Blush
