Leaving your cat?
I know this sounds silly, but my little cat is a house cat (through my stupid choice, and now about to move into a flat due to a break up so has to be) and he gets left everyday when I go to work but I return at around 5.30 and I'm there for the evening.

Sometimes, I stay out overnight. I try to avoid this if I can't get anyone to stay with him but sometimes it's unavoidable.

He entertains himself, he's got lots of toys and he mainly sleeps.

But should I feel guilty? Sometimes I forget he's a cat and they are very solitary but other times I think I'm being selfish and shouldn't leave him overnight at all if I can help it.

I'm being stupid right? 😂

Oh of course, you hate leaving them.

I usually put the radio on for background noise. On Sunday I felt guilty for getting back at 10pm, imagining she'd miss me, but when I got in she just looked at me haughily and led me to her food bowl Hmm

I understand . Yes I don't like to leave ours too long. He wants company and follows me around the house when I get home miaowing . He always wants to be where we are. Some cats seem more independent.

I did, until I had to stay in one morning and they completely ignored me. So I realised they were quite happy. I also had a camera so I could see they were ok.
