Will I be ok to leave kitten in kitchen over night?

We got our beautiful girl a couple of days ago and the past two nights she has been in our bedroom. I love having her in with us but she does tend to wake at 4am and paw at you to play with her.
Ds (3) will be back home tonight after spending the weekend with his dad. He also wakes up in the middle of the night and comes and gets in our bed and between sleeping next to a toddler and a kitten I can't imagine I will ever sleep again Grin
I don't want the kitten disturbing ds so would she be ok sleeping in the kitchen? Obviously she will have her litter tray, food/water and her bed. She is very fond of my sofa throw too so I will put that in with her. I just feel awful leaving her but we all need sleep.

They can be overwhelmingly playful as kittens. You only have to move an arm and they pounce.

Give it a whirl (it's good she's attached to the sofa throw) but be prepared for possible kitty screams!

They can get into very small places so make sure doors to washing machine etc. are all closed. One of hours got behind a washing machine , put some toys in the kitchen. 4am seems like the national getting up time for catsGrin pics please

Ours slept downstairs with a bed etc & a hot water bottle under the bed.

4am is still getting up time & he's 9.

Put your son in the kitchen and snuggle with kitty :)

I was about to suggest the same as Spartacus, but thought it might not go down to well!
