Limping but not in pain

Hello, just after any opinions as to what might be wrong with my cat. She's 13 and never ill. Very independent. Past couple of days have noticed her limping on back leg, and now that I think about it, she's stumbled a bit when jumping onto sofa and chairs recently. I've gently had a look at her leg and tummy and she doesn't flinch, no swelling or sign of injury.

I have of course got an appointment first thing with the vet. Just sat here worrying because I had to have her brother pts last month (respiratory tumour) :(

If she's limping she's in pain. There's no other reason to Limp.

At least you're taking her in.

I've noticed with my cats over the years, that they might limp for a couple of days & then stop. When I've asked the vet, they've said that sometimes it can be down to landing badly or being whacked in a fight. One of my cats is slightly deformed & has a bit of trouble walking, (she's pretty much an indoor cat), but whenever the vet examines her I'm always told that she's OK, it's just a bit of pain from arthritis. I give her Loxicom painkiller for this.

I was thinking maybe arthritis, guess the cold weather makes it worse?

Fight also likely, she is a ginger female and very dominant. She's just eaten a pouch after barely touching food yesterday so I feel a bit happier.
