Nightly throwing up

11yr old started throwing up and acting out of sorts in August after a major upheaval in furniture. I put it down to stress, got a feliway atomiser thingy and she settled.
It's now started again. Practically every night. She's otherwise happy and active. Plays, eating and drinking fine, pooing and peeing normally too.
Any thoughts other than taking to vet which I plan to do on my day off if it's still happening?
She's on Iams Mature. I had to change the cats normal food in the summer after our local pet shop, who did their own, closed down.

No idea, hopefully the vet will know. Is she losing condition?

mine does this, I cut down on the dry food.

Condition seems fine.
She's only ever had dry food. I would worry more that wet food would upset her system. Is there a wet food that might be particularly suitable?

Does she scoff her food really quickly? I believe that can lead to vomiting. Has anything spooked her recently? Or is it furballs?

My Boycat has the odd phase of bolting his food then throwing up, I put it down to food anxiety after his feral youth.

We had a similar problem with our girl cat; it went on for a few weeks. Lots of tests via the vet came up with nothing other than she might have sensitive digestion. They were exclusively dry food, so we added some plain chicken, and phased in a sensitive dry food. It seemed to resolve itself after that.

Our boy cat is a gobbler, and he often throws up if he’s eaten too quickly, or if he runs around too much after a big dinner.

I guess as long as she’s still eating and drinking as normal, and seems ok other than the throwing up, it is just a stress reaction. Fingers crossed!

Cat seen by the vet last Wednesday. Nothing found really so he recommended Hill's for sensitive digestion (££££!) and gave me antacid tablets for her.
Touch wood, no hurling since then. Hurrah!
