Names for new kittens?

We're getting (subject to a positive home check) 2 new kittens from the local cat rescue centre. About 14 weeks old, but quite small, cute little things.

A black and white male.
And a pale tortoiseshell female.

No pics! Too busy petting and fussing with them to remember to take any photos.

Trying to think of names that go together but that aren't too cheesy! ;)

Exciting!

We've passed the home visit and I just have to wait for their recommendation email to go in and phone the rescue centre tomorrow at lunchtime to arrange collection.

It doesn't open late in the week (3pm), is 30 mins away and I teach, so can't leave before half 3 ish. So it's looking likely I'll be getting them Saturday morning. But they might stay open a bit later if it's a collection rather than a viewing.

Mary and Joseph

Chances are you won't use their names anyway. Mine have perfectly normal names on paper but they are only used at the vets Grin. In private there are selection of nicknames including but by no means limited to: Peewee, Mr Weasel, Mr Fat Pants, Mousekins, Little Bat Cat, Little Squeak Face, Poo Pants, Fatty McFatterson... DD likes Missy (Mischief) for a girl. She's definitely got a bit more attitude than her brother.

Undecided about the boy's name still.

The cat we're bringing home on Sunday is also called Missy (see earlier thread). It's the only name the six of us could agree on.

The boy's original name is Harlequin on his documents, so I think he's going to stay as Harley. Now rethinking the girl's name.

It's too hard to choose!

Good luck for kitten-day tomorrow/today TheSecond....

Ours seem q good so far. Confined to the downstairs, they take themselves to bed in the evening together in the basket that used to be our very first cat's bed (25 years old, that basket!) and settle nicely.

I still cannot decide on names! Driving me potty now. Luckily, they don't seem to mind.
