Looking for a bit of advice.
We have a 4 month old kitten who's been with us for a month and is a very naughty sweetheart. We also have an older cat. We were planning on keeping the kitten in until he's had all his vaccinations and been neutered.
We have a cat flap on the cellar door set to one way, so the old cat can come in but the kitten can't escape (yeah right). Unfortunately the little bugger has worked out how to lift the locked flap and escape into the cat theme park otherwise known as the cellar. It won't be long until he discovers the catflap down there that leads to the outside world.
So do I surrender and let him explore and find the outside world? Or is he too little and do I need to seal off the internal flap so he can't escape, but then old cat can't come in?
